CBCA Book of the Year Awards
The annual CBCA (Children's Book Council of Australia) Book of the Year Awards are Australia's premiere children's book awards.
Parents, carers, teachers, and librarians create displays and reading lists based on the shortlisted titles. The awards aim to promote quality literature for young Australians, support and encourage a wide range of Australian writers and illustrators of children’s books, and celebrate contributions to Australian children’s literature. They're announced annually on the Friday before Children's Book Week.
