Be Connected

Be Connected is an Australia wide initiative empowering all Australians to thrive in a digital world. We have online learning resources as well as a Network of community partners - the Be Connected Network - who offer support so you can develop your digital skills and confidence. Get Online Week


COMPETITION ENTRY HERE
Get Online Week is happening from 18 to 24 October 2021. Each weekday during Get Online Week we will have an online information session at 10am followed by one-on-one tech support either by phone or in person at the library. You will have the opportunity to win great prizes including a Samsung Tablet! The 10am online sessions cover topics such as online tech help, signing up for a tech learning plan, accessing all of the great online collections for reading and listening, and travelling to places far and wide from the comfort of home. Tech Savvy Seniors

The Tech Savvy Seniors program helps you build the skills and confidence to use computers, tablets and smartphones. It includes face-to-face training; self-teach online videos; how-to guides and more. Click HERE to access online tutorials and tools.

eSafety

eSafety can help Australians experiencing online bullying or abuse to take action or make a complaint. They also provide a wide range of online safety programs, resources, and training. Click HERE to access the eSafety website.

Scamwatch
