The Mobile Library supports the community to create regular library habits, along with a love of reading and lifelong learning. It contributes to reducing social isolation among people living on their own or in remote communities and provides the capacity to reach those without immediate access to a static library branch. RTRL has offered a Mobile Library since 1980—currently through a semitrailer model capable of carrying over 9,500 items and offering full branch services.
